Ernst Theis had his debut at the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra
To conduct world famous orchestras like the St. Petersburg Philharmonic is not included in Ernst Theis` everydays work. Therefore he is proud to be faced with such a warm collegiality by this famous Russian orchestra and about the willingness of the musicians to accept his musical ideas and their engagement while playing the concert at the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Hall. A special honor for him was the presence of Yuri Temirkanov, chief conductor of the orchestra and one of the most famous contemporary Russian conductors, during the whole concert. The reception given by Mr. Temirkanov himself for the artists of the evening in the rooms of the Philharmonic building was a real highlight for all musicians. Ernst Theis is looking forward to his next project in Russia. In March he will conduct Beethoven at Kazan.
