The New Year’s Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic
For quite some time now, Ernst Theis has been researching the controversial history of the Vienna Philharmonic’s New Year’s Concert. And the conclusions that he has reached are diametrically opposed to the generally accepted scholarly view according to which the New Year’s Concert was an invention of Germany’s National Socialist regime.
